Modelo de maturidade do Banking 4.0: proposta e avaliação segundo a opinião de especialistas

Objetivo: este artigo tem como principal objetivo propor e refinar Modelo de Avaliação da Maturidade (MM) para o Banking 4.0 (B4.0).
Método: a pesquisa foi realizada a partir de uma profunda revisão da literatura realizada de forma exploratória, dada a inexistência de modelos de maturidade voltados para o banco 4.0. Em seguida, para o desenvolvimento do modelo de avaliação, adotou-se um procedimento com foco em desenvolvimento de modelos de maturidade baseado em quatro etapas, quais sejam: (1) Definição do problema; (2) Comparação com outros MM’s; (3) Determinação da estratégia de desenvolvimento; e, (4) Desenvolvimento interativo. Posteriormente, modelo foi avaliado por meio da opinião de especialistas.
Originalidade: a proposição e avaliação do modelo representa um avanço na literatura dado seu escopo inovador com foco no B4.0.
Resultados: a partir de uma ampla revisão da literatura sobre B4.0 e modelos de maturidade para a Indústria 4.0 (I4.0), foi possível propor o modelo com cinco dimensões (Tecnologia; Cliente; Pessoas e Cultura; Estratégia e Liderança; e, Governança), quatro níveis (Inicial, Gerenciado, Integrado, Digital Orientado) e 42 itens de maturidade. Para a operacionalização do modelo, é necessário avaliar o desempenho do banco em relação aos itens de maturidade bem como em relação ao grau de importância destes para auxiliar no cálculo da Maturidade Global. A avaliação dos especialistas analisou a estrutura adequada a teoria de MM.
Conclusões: Em termos práticos o MM representa uma ferramenta importante para os gestores dos Bancos que desejam diagnosticar seu estado e evoluir no B4.0.
