“Ser ou Não Ser, Eis a Questão”: liderança online na XPTO

Objetivo: Este caso para ensino tem por objetivo oferecer aos alunos vivência em uma situação relacionada à liderança online, a proposta é fazer com que os discentes analisem o caso apresentado e se coloquem no lugar de Onofre para discutir soluções ao dilema proposto.
Metodologia/abordagem: Este caso para ensino é baseado em uma história real e para sua construção foram utilizados dados coletados por meio de uma entrevista online, semiestruturada, com o CEO da empresa e pela análise de documentos disponíveis na internet.
Originalidade/relevância: É possível identificar aspectos que remetem à Teoria de Liderança Online no caso vivenciado pelo CEO da XPTO, bem como por suas ações e esforços para se adaptar majoritariamente ao trabalho remoto.
Resultados: Onofre se depara com a possibilidade de tornar sua empresa majoritariamente remota. Movido principalmente pela busca de redução de custos, ele precisa definir as principais oportunidades e desafios dessa nova modalidade de trabalho que pretende adotar, pensar em processos e práticas que permitam desenvolver competências para que os líderes atuem nesse ambiente virtual, além de buscar estratégias para que esses líderes fortalecerem as relações de confiança com suas equipes virtuais.
Contribuições teóricas/metodológicas: Propõe-se que o caso seja aplicado nos cursos de Graduação em Administração e Tecnólogo em Gestão de Recursos Humanos, nas disciplinas de Gestão de Pessoas, Gestão de Negócios, Liderança e Estratégia Empresarial.
