Processo de compra online via dispositivos móveis: uma análise baseada em benefícios e sacrifícios

Objetivo: Analisar diferentes fatores que influenciam os consumidores no uso de dispositivos móveis no processo de compra online.
Metodologia: O estudo foi realizado por meio de uma pesquisa survey, em que se testou um modelo causal baseado em diferentes benefícios e sacrifícios como forma de predizer o uso de dispositivos móveis e sua relação com a intenção de compra online.
Originalidade: Embora a literatura de Sistemas de Informação seja rica em estudos sobre adoção de tecnologia, os modelos tradicionais têm se mostrado inadequados para explicar a adoção de serviços orientados por telecomunicação, como aqueles envolvendo dispositivos móveis.
Principais Resultados: Identificou-se a conveniência, a facilidade de uso e a tecnicidade como importantes preditores do uso de dispositivos móveis nas compras online. Evidenciou-se, ainda, que a segurança na transação e a frequência de uso do dispositivo móvel em diferentes etapas do processo de compra online estão associadas a uma maior intenção de compra por parte do consumidor.
Contribuições teóricas: Oferece um adequado enquadramento do fenômeno estudado, ampliando os achados de estudos anteriores, ao evidenciar que o consumidor utilizará o seu dispositivo móvel para realizar compras online buscando a maximização de valor, ou seja, um número maior de benefícios do que sacrifícios.
Contribuições gerenciais: O estudo fornece informações relevantes aos gestores, podendo auxiliá-los a definir e priorizar importantes estratégias para atuação no comércio móvel.
