Gestão de Risco e Desempenho de Projetos Complexos: O Grid das Competências

Mesmo sabendo que projetos complexos exigem esforços significativos em atividades de gestão de risco acredita-se que gerentes de projetos ainda não dominam essa competência. O propósito deste trabalho foi entender como a aplicação da competência de gestão de risco pode influenciar os resultados de projetos complexos. A pesquisa, apoiada no método do estudo de caso, examinou a gestão de risco e desempenho de três empresas atuando em projetos complexos do setor de infraestrutura. O material coletado foi obtido por meio de documentos e da aplicação de entrevistas com gerentes e membros de equipe de projetos. Foi possível construir um grid de competências, além de realizar uma avaliação de cada uma delas e elaborar um quadro de proposições de ordem prática a ser utilizado por gerentes de riscos em projetos complexos. Uma limitação evidente deu-se pelo número de projetos avaliados que constituíram uma amostra não probabilística com aplicação de entrevistas baseadas na percepção dos respondentes. O trabalho originalmente integra a visão de práticas de gerenciamento de riscos com desempenho em projetos complexos, servindo de base para novos estudos.References
