This study proposed the implementation of an exoskeleton to relieve the load on the upper limbs at industrial workstations, aiming to reduce ergonomic risks and increase productivity. The research is categorized as a mixed-methods study, combining quantitative and qualitative data through literature review and structured interviews with actual users. The article is considered highly relevant academically as Industry 4.0, characterized by the integration of physical objects, human factors, machines, processes, and production lines, results in an intelligent, connected, and agile production chain. Consequently, interventions are necessary for high-risk tasks, using machines, auxiliary robots, or ergonomic devices capable of either replacing humans or working alongside them in physically demanding tasks. Improvements were observed in psychological symptoms such as fatigue, nervousness, and concentration, as well as in physical symptoms like neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. Methodologically, a validation protocol was defined based on interviews, collecting users' opinions on their perceptions before and after using the exoskeleton at their respective workstations, with scores assigned to questions related to psychological symptoms, physical symptoms, and workstation perception. This topic has been of growing interest as ergonomics plays a crucial role in workers' health and performance.References
