Autores/as

Resumen

Objetivo: Identificar el papel que el project champion desempeña en un contexto de proyectos;

Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque metodológico cualitativo y exploratorio, a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura con una muestra de 44 artículos;

Originalidad/Relevancia: Las contribuciones del project champion generalmente se consideran críticas para el éxito de los proyectos;

Principales resultados: Los resultados demuestran, además del papel desempeñado por los project champions, los factores de empoderamiento y el poder de influencia de estos individuos. Entre los principales roles del project champion están garantizar el compromiso y apoyo de los stakeholders, facilitar la aceptación del proyecto, motivar a los miembros del equipo y asegurar los recursos necesarios. Las habilidades de liderazgo y la familiaridad con la organización son los dos principales factores de empoderamiento, mientras que establecer buenas relaciones personales y utilizar tácticas de influencia representan el poder de influencia;

Contribuciones teóricas: Este estudio contribuye a ampliar la literatura en el campo de la gestión de proyectos mediante la identificación de los principales aspectos que representan el papel del project champion en el contexto de proyectos;

Contribuciones para la gestión: De manera práctica, la investigación puede proporcionar apoyo a gerentes de proyecto y ejecutivos en la identificación, asignación y desarrollo de estos profesionales.
