Resumo

The main objective of this technical report is to present the results obtained from the adaptation and implementation of Scrum methodology as an agile project management tool in a government agency. Initially, it was carried out a review of literature on Scrum methodology and its impacts on organizations. Then, adaptations were applied to the original model in order to enable its use in the organization under study. The adapted model was applied and then the impact was measured. The adapted tool proved its efficiency by introducing more agility to the project deliverables without, however, any loss in quality of the intermediary and final products. This study suggests the use of this tool in similar public agencies that go through the same problems described, mainly the control schedule process, enabling the validation of the proposed model.
